Over the previous few weeks, a gaggle of scammers have hijacked at least eight Twitter accounts belonging to outstanding figures within the cryptocurrency trade to facilitate phishing scams. In line with blockchain detective ZachXBT, the group has stolen about $1 million price of cryptocurrency up to now.
In a June ninth Twitter thread, ZachXBT outlined that it had found a number of wallets “linked in a sequence” associated to a phishing rip-off facilitated by a not too long ago hacked account.
